What
makes you unique from other companies?
1 – Weddings are our specialty
Our photography and videography team shoots
an average of 50-60 weddings per year. Our
focus is on weddings and weddings only.
No seniors, no portraits, no pets, no stock
photography, no commercial photography.
Just weddings. Although we do enjoy shooting
a variety of subjects, when it comes to
business we choose to put our time, creativity
and education into weddings so that we can
offer you experience and knowledge that
is second to none. Specializing in weddings
allows us to give our couples extra time,
attention to detail, and the very best of
editing techniques, prints, albums and signature
products.
2 – You are our priority
We are an independent family business with
a small number of people (just four of us!)
but a big emphasis on personal attention
and customer service. We make your day easy.
When you call or email us with a question,
you’ll always be communicating with
the same person, and you’ll always
get a timely response. We genuinely care
about making you happy and making your wedding
day more than you imagined. We encourage
custom planning sessions in person, by phone
or email so that we can learn more about
your wedding style and tailor our services
to your day.
3 – We are flexible
Your wedding is unique, and we think your
package should be, too. Our packages offer
lots of options for you to choose from,
so you can really create your own package.
You choose your proofing option and you
choose your package extras, such as engagement
sessions, slideshows, canvas prints, and
album credits. We’re always open to
hearing your ideas, and we are flexible
with the schedule of your day. You choose
whether you want to see each other before
the ceremony, and we’ll develop a
shooting schedule that will work with your
plans.

down-to-earth people who also happen to
be accomplished professionals in the wedding
industry. We make your day comfortable and
we work with you to create spectacular images
and video of your wedding. We give you the
products and experience you’d expect

with a smaller one. We are passionate about
what we do - the challenges each wedding

one place
We offer the area’s most in-demand
complete photo and video service, giving
couples the opportunity to book both story-telling
services from the same company. Here are
the benefits you can expect: our photographers
and videographer have already worked together
at hundreds of weddings, so there are no
surprises or conflicting work styles on
your wedding day; we share the same classic,
yet modern look to our products, so your
photographs and video will blend seamlessly;
we are able to complement our videos and
packaging materials with photographs from
your event; finally, we are able to offer
special rates for couples booking our combination
packages. Of course, if you already have
photo or video services booked with another
vendor, you can always book our services
separately and be assured that we will work
professionally and closely with other vendors
to give you the best products and service
possible.

Can
you help me with planning the schedule and
timeline for my day?
We can definitely offer tips and advice
that will benefit the organization and timeliness
of your day, from getting ready through
the dance. After shooting and attending
hundreds of weddings, our experience has
given us a thorough understanding of weddings
and what works best for scheduling the events
of the day - not just for photography or
videography purposes, but for making the
day the most comfortable it can be for you
and your guests . Don’t hesitate to
ask us questions. We also have a list of
recommended vendors in the area who we respect
and trust and who we know will give you
the best service possible while also helping
you plan your day.

Have
you shot at our location before?
Because of the number of weddings we shoot
each year in Madison and its surrounding
areas, chances are very good that we have
been at your location many times. We can
offer you the advantage of already knowing
the details, lighting and set-up of your
wedding venues. Feel free to ask if we have
photos from recent weddings available for
viewing on our web site, current client
galleries, or our studio portfolios that
showcase your locations.

Is
there a fee or limit on the locations we
choose for our wedding coverage?
There is absolutely no charge for location
photography. We encourage you to select
unique or popular locations in the area
– wherever fits your personalities,
wedding style or has meaning to you. We
do not have a limit on the number of locations
you choose, although we do recommend allowing
at least 20-30 minutes at each location
for pictures. Of course, the time we spend
will ultimately depend on the schedule for
your day, and we’re flexible!

Do
you carry backup equipment?
Our team always has backup equipment, including
professional Canon cameras, lenses, flashes,
batteries, compact flash cards, Canon and
Sony video cameras, tripods and extra tapes.

What
if you are sick or have extenuating circumstances
that prevent you from shooting our wedding?
You can be assured that your wedding is
our priority. Should anything like this
ever happen, we would first look within
our own company for someone with an open
schedule. If this is not possible, we do
have a network of other professionals we
can call on who are trustworthy and work
with a similar style.

Do
you have a travel fee?
Locations within a one hour trip of our
Madison studio incur a $50 flat travel fee.
Please contact us regarding availability
and travel charges for weddings further
outside of the Madison area.

What
is your deposit to reserve the date and
what is your payment structure?
There is a $300 non-refundable deposit with
the signing of the contract, which fully
reserves your date. The deposit is applied
to your total package cost, with 50% of
the remaining balance due one month prior
to the wedding date, and the final 50% due
within one month after the wedding date.

What
if I need you to stay longer at the wedding?
Prior to the wedding, we always do our best
to plan the day with you and estimate the
time you’ll need us there in order
to cover everything you would like. If things
run behind or you decide you need extra
coverage, we can always add on time. The
hourly cost for photography or videography
services is $150, which includes the time
at the wedding and post production work.
You can add as little or as much time as
you need, with a minimum time increment
of 15 minutes.

would you describe your style?
We combine the latest trends in modern portraiture
and candid photojournalism with classic
traditional elements like family photos
and ceremony customs. We love to capture
emotion in photographs, but we also love
to create stunning portraits in a comfortable
atmosphere for you, your wedding party and
your guests. Finally, we never forget about
details – your flowers, your programs,
your table arrangements, your place cards…all
those little things that create the uniqueness
of your wedding.

How
many photographers will shoot my wedding?
We provide you with two photographers for
complete coverage of your wedding day. You’ll
enjoy hundreds of unique images, different
angles and unbelievable creativity that
only two photographers can provide. Plus,
if time gets short or things are running
behind, we are able to split up and cover
two different things at one time - whether
it’s family photos, wedding party
photos or pre-ceremony coverage –
and we’ll get your day right back
on schedule.

Does
your portfolio represent what I can expect
to see from my wedding?
All of the images on our web site and in
our studio portfolios were shot by the photographers
who will be at your wedding. The images
you see in our portfolios are representative
of the quality, artistry and variety we
capture at every wedding.

Are
my pictures digitally retouched?
Every picture is retouched for optimum color,
contrast and sharpness. The bridal portraits
and bride and groom portraits are also retouched
to soften skin tone, remove blemishes and
stray hairs. Spot coloring and artistically
filtered images will give your wedding gallery
an unbelievable look that will set your
pictures apart from any you have seen before.If
you would like extensive retouching done
on specific pictures beyond what is mentioned
above, please contact us for more information

Do
I receive all of my images in color and
black and white?
Absolutely. We love the timeless, classic
look of black and white, as it truly captures
the emotions of a photograph in a way that
nothing else can. However, there are many
photos that look beautiful in color and
that you’ll want in color, like reception
room shots, flowers and dresses. We give
you every photo in both color and black
and white on your online gallery and your
DVD negatives. That way you can easily compare
and decide which format you like best for
each image.

Will
I receive my negatives? Is there a charge?
You will receive all of your retouched,
high resolution images in both color and
black and white on DVD six months after
the wedding. These are included in your
package and there is absolutely no charge
for your negatives. If you decide that you
would like your DVD negatives right away
after your pictures are posted, you do have
the option to purchase them earlier.

How
soon after the wedding will I be able to
see my wedding pictures?
Your online gallery will be posted within
3 – 6 weeks after the wedding, and
your proofing option will arrive soon after.

be like.
Your online gallery will include all of
your pictures in both color and black and
white so that you can easily view and compare
all of your images. You can view your images
as a slideshow, quickly jump to a specific
part of your day by using the organized
categories or just enjoy them one by one
from start to finish. Your friends, family
and out of town guests will love being able
to see all your photos from the comfort
of their own computer. Plus, they can view
or order photos from your gallery for a
full four months. You can also choose to
have your gallery password protected if
you wish.

Tell
me more about your albums.
We do a lot of research to continually carry
the best and latest albums available. We
have one of the largest varieties of albums
in the area, including traditional matted
albums, romantic fabric albums with beautiful
hand-torn pages and striking contemporary
digital coffee table books. All of our albums
include custom covers with choices of leather,
wood, fabric, metal, glass, metallic prints,
photo inlays or embossing. Each page is
custom designed from scratch – all
we need from you is a list of the photos
you would like to include and we’ll
do the rest. Or, you can even let us choose
your photos and you won’t have to
do a thing.

What is your style?
Our unique cinematography creates just the
right mix of art and romance to produce

Who
does the filming and editing?
Our master videographer shoots every wedding
himself to ensure continuity in style, creativity
and quality. After the wedding we collaborate
with our award-winning New York film editor
and work closely with him to produce your
unique wedding film.

Tell
me more about how my film will be made.
We use professional Canon and Sony equipment
to film all our weddings, providing us with
broadcast quality picture and sound, while
allowing us to remain unobtrusive without
the distractions of huge cameras, ladders
and bright lights. We feel that to produce
optimum coverage, the film we create needs
to be one where the bride, groom and their
guests are not constantly aware of the videographer.
Once all the shots are safe on tape, we
bring them back to the studio and start
to build your DVD. After you send us your
CD of song choices, photo montage choices,
rolling credits and any special requests,
your film is edited using the same software
as some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters.
Your wedding film is then produced, including
the actual film to the custom DVD menu and
the packaging.

Do
you walk around the wedding bothering guests
to say something to the camera?
Definitely not. We are very respectful of
your guests. Short interviews are done only
at your request and are typically done with
only a few close family members or friends
so that we don’t take too much shooting
time away from other important events happening
during the day.

Can
I choose my own music for the DVD?
Absolutely. This is your film, and we want
it to be as personal as possible. We ask
you to provide a CD of 5-6 songs listed
in the order of preference that you would
like to hear them in your film. We will
do our best to honor your requests, but
sometimes certain songs just don’t
work well with the look or length of a segment
in your film, and in that case, we will
need to adjust the songs. We also love to
include at least one track of Hollywood
movie music, usually at the start of the
film and during your highlight segment.
These pieces of music emphasize the emotions
and beauty of your wedding like nothing
else can.

How
long will my film be?
Your full wedding DVD includes fully edited
coverage from our arrival time through our
ending time. On average, our films last
anywhere from 50 – 100 minutes, depending
on the length of your ceremony. You can
also use your DVD menu to select a scene
and easily jump between parts of your day.

Will parts of my ceremony be edited
out?
We never remove any part of your ceremony.
Your full length ceremony is edited with
smooth transitions between three camera
coverage angles, keeping the ceremony interesting
without removing any part.

Do
I get a highlight version?
Each of our packages includes a highlight
reel. Just like a movie trailer, it takes
you through the entire film in three to
five minutes so that you can watch your
day as many times as you like in just a
few minutes. Also, it’s a great feature
to show friends or family who may not have
time to watch your entire film.

What
are rolling credits?
You won’t find this feature anywhere
but here! Our unique rolling credits showcase
the names of your wedding party and family
members while playing your highlight reel
or extra footage from the day.

What
does the DVD menu look like?
You’ll have a customized menu just
like you’d see on a Hollywood film,
including scene selection, photos from your
day and music. It’s best to watch
one of our demo DVDs to really get the best
feel for our unique customized menus.

Do
you shoot in widescreen?
Yes. We shoot all footage in 16:9 resolution.
DVDs are authored to show a widescreen shot
on standard televisions and full 16:9 resolution
on high definition televisions.

How will my film be packaged?
Your DVD copies include a custom design
printed directly on the discs as well as
custom DVD packaging with your photos, names,
wedding date and wedding venue.

When
will I receive my final edited DVD copies?
Couples choose our videography team because
they expect the best. Working with an award-winning
New York film editor, your wedding film
is created using the same software and attention
to detail as full-feature films. Weddings
are placed in the order in which we receive
your music choices, photo choices and typed
list of credits. Once we receive everything
we need to edit your film, your wedding
is placed in order for editing. You can
check the status of your film by using a
link to a video status page on our website.
Then,
you can look forward to a true Hollywood
style wedding film that captures the emotion
and tells the story of your day forever.

How
many DVD copies will I receive?
The number of copies depends on the number
of hours you book. Four hours of coverage
provides two complete copies, six hours
provides three complete copies and eight
hours provides four complete copies. You
can always order additional fully packaged
copies at $25 each.

Do
you have a demo that I can watch?
We have clips available to view on our web
site and we also have a demo DVD that we
can send to your home. You are always welcome
to schedule a time to come in and view clips
in our studio as well. The demo DVD shows
highlight reels from several weddings as
well as different segments, such as getting
ready, pre-ceremony and rolling credits.
